Although the USB-stick might have been the cause it is a strange finding… I have no other USB-devices plugged in, other than my mouse and keyboard, that i use since the The USB View program from Microsoft has the advantage that it shows the hierarchy, so you can see which device is connected to which USB Controller and USB Hub. Not a problem.
Also, the Format, Settings & Slices options in the ‘Save As' finder window are off-center, situated to the far left. Once a device is plugged, it will be detected and the driver is activated for that device. BIG BROTHER!!
