Where images in email live Images in email actually come from one of two completely different places. Sorry, but that's just the way diagnosis works. Windows forums and received a few replies from their "mediators" assuring me that they were working on the issue. Sorry this is not very technical but its the best way I can describe it.
Uncheck box against "Convert messages to photo emails....etc". While the reference to the image is correct, it's encoded in such a way that it’s misinterpreted when you forward it. In the place of the pictures, wording something akin to a corresponding http address appeared in my Inbox (as well as in my Sent box). Yes, this sends the full headers and footers too which is annoying but at least it works. The image itself may be included with the email.
