Avg Blocking Internet Connection

AVG is still blocking (I.E) from opening & to be honest I'm not actually happy with the email instructions sent to me from (AVG) asking for remote-in to my PC...What I Do I need to go into the settings and turn Defender off myself or as I asked earlier...is Norton outsourcing to Defender? If I disable AVG, the browser works.Uninstalling AVG fails.  Upgrading it also fails.If I disable AVG, Windows Firewall still says that AVG is controlling its settings.What is going on here?!  This If I then turn it back to automatic it seems to be OK for  a while but then blocks everythign again (no web access at all).  As with above, I like Avg Blocking Internet Connection Installing security software that is not yet tested with the new operating system could prove disastrous.
